In the newest versions of Firefox for Linux, the background for the menu bar, the bar under it with the search window, and the bookmark bar is a medium gray. The text on those bars is a slightly darker gray, making it hard to read for some of us. In the Windows version of Firefox, the background on those bars is far lighter, and the text is black. Can I change the background and text color on the Linux version? I'd be happy to import the Windows-version look, but I'm pretty sure that can't be done.

I've attached a screenshot. The text on the Firefox Support page is tolerably dark on a white background; the problem is with the text in the gray area at the top of the screen.

Thanks for any feedback.

The screenshot did not attach properly. I'll try again.

You can try a different theme.

You can look at the Firefox Color extension and possibly create your own theme.
