Receiving Nightly Error Running in background unable to start 202309091305

After setting Firefox Mozilla Nightly as my default web browser on my Samsung laptop, I have been receiving an error message that Nightly is running in the background with a pop-up window that suggests closing the browser. After agreeing with the popup window nightly still will not open. My fix is to reboot my laptop at this point.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If, once you have closed Firefox, you open the Windows Task Manager tool, do you still see Firefox processes running?
