when I am in my Thunderbird email, recently, when I go to delete emails, I can only go a few and the system stops and the top bar states "not responding" for a minute or so, and then allows me to continue. But that also freezes after additional actions in deleting emails. This slows the operation of the system and I want to recognize what it is, eliminate it and allow the Thunderbird to continue to operate the way it has done for years.
