Pop-up windows that I have selected to launch suddenly load very slowly across all Web sites. I have not changed any settings, installed any new programs nor installed a new version of Firefox. This happens 90% of the time now.

Hello Mike.
You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
