Firefox won't let me into genes reunited, always says "bad request (invalid verb)"

I always used to be able to access genes reunited with Firefox. Recently it is only occasionally letting me in (less than 1 in 20 attempts), and never lets me into my inbox. When this occurs, the only writing on the page is "Bad Request (Invalid Verb)"

I switched from Internet Explorer a year or so ago and do prefer Firefox...however have just tried Internet Explorer and the website is working fine on my computer with this

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
