After I download firefox and when it comes to were it asks if I want to import from Internet Explorer my favorits and so on witch I want to but I get this error message-A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
I have downloaded firefox 3 times and it does the same thing and I try both of the choices it give me,but with no luck.Thank you for your time.

Have you tried using File > Import once Firefox is installed? If you don't get that far in the installation routine to actually install Firefox, just say no when the routine asks you about importing from IE and then see if File > Import works better.

If all you need is your IE Favorites to be imported, try getting them into Firefox in this manner. In IE: File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file then in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

I can't test the import from IE during the installation process myself to see how bad it is, because I have no data in IE to import into Firefox. I haven't used IE in over 8 years, for anything that didn't "need" to be done in IE.
