I'm using Firefox Sync across multiple computers / profiles / Firefox version (mainly minefield) and since a few weeks I get sync errors everywhere. I'm a very early user of Weave if that helps.

Thinking about having a fresh start, I deleted my sync account successfully. Now, creating a new one through the Firefox Sync wizard, it says my email is already used.

Was the username of your old sync account your email address, or another username? If it wasn't your email address, it sounds like you may have set up another account with that at some point. You should be able to go to https://account.services.mozilla.com and reset the password, which will allow you to use it.

The login parameter was a username, I'm an early adopter.

I've set up a new account using an "address+keyword@gmail.com" email, but it doesn't solve the fact that I should have been able to reuse my normal email as the account associated with it was deleted (supposedly?).

As for the sync errors, I keep getting them, but have narrowed them down to bookmarks syncing. I'll create another thread for that when I know more I guess.
