why does my computer flag FireFow 4 as a corrupted file?
Is my anti-virus preventing me from downloading the latest version of FF?? The download worked but when I tried to open the file an error box popped up saying "this file is corrupt". Some South African recently gave me a new anti-virus program because there are so many viruses here..maybe thats the problem?

Did you download it from Mozilla official site:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
If you did, it should be safe to install. If not, please delete that file and download from the above link.
I have the same problem, I just downloaded from the link posted by Silk, and it still says the file is corrupted.
Try to download from this page:
If you keep having problems then try to disable your anti-virus software temporarily during the download and if necessary also during the installation.
it was doing the same thing i even used cnet but i used this one it downloaded just fine this time thank you
