cannot inststall firefox 4 on my mac OSX latest version

after downloading FF4 tyhe mac said " de bewerking kan niet worden voltooid, omdat u geen bevoegdheden hebt om toegang te krijgen tot sommige onderdelen.

I have a mac with Intel processor (powermac) and are using 3.3.6. now I change to FF4 and I cannot install it in the normal way. It says that I have no allowence to install it. please help me. Regards peter

The best way to update it is via Help | Check For Updates.

It did not help, I clicked it on on my 3.6.6 and the mac said "there are no updates available" . Now I can work with FF4 but mot in teh normal way. regards peter

If this is all the support that firefox can give, thanks.

I've installed Google chrome and everything worked fine so for me Google chrome.
