How do I create a larger on-screen bookmarks toolbar? I need a second row of icons.

I've edited the names on my bookmarks toolbar icons to provide room for more icons (22 in place), but still have around 18 key bookmarks 'stacked' in a pull down menu on the right side of the toolbar. What I'd really like to do is add a 'second row' bookmarks toolbar under the existing one so that my most-used bookmarks show up as icons all the time, rather than be stuck with using a pull down menu. I need my key bookmark icons available as visuals all the time. I can't locate any command in Firefox that allows two (or more) rows of bookmarks toolbar to be available in the Firefox window. Could the bookmarks toolbar be changed to allow the user to grab the bottom edge and pull down to create a wider toolbar that shows all the icons? Would be nice if Mozilla could fix this...
