This is a problem with Oracle Enterprise, F5 Networks, Passlogix V-GO, and IBM Tivoli Access Manager SSO. All of these programs use the same underlying code, which causes problems with Firefox 7.0.1

This can be fixed through a registry edit. Do you know which one of these you have installed on your computer?

I had F5 Networks plug-in, but have removed it and see no references to it in the registry. But, I'm still crashing at startup. I don't have any of the other applications listed. Are there others that it conflicts with?

IMO, I consider it unacceptable to roll out an application with this many conflicts. Even if it is the other companies doing something technically wrong, it is FireFox that *started* crashing after this 7.01 update.

I've resisted going to Chrome for a long time, but since FireFox no longer works for me, I guess now is the time. Huge disappointment from someone who has strongly supported Mozilla from the beginning.

Maybe your crash isn't caused by F5 Network plug-in. You can check the registry, I think it would be at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\F5 Networks\Extensions\AccessManager\MozHO\molten\{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}\4.0], but I could be wrong.

If your crash isn't caused by F5 Networks, try to find your crash id by typing about:crashes in the location bar and pressing enter. You may have to run in Safe Mode, if firefox crashes before you can find your crash id.
