firefogg not converting .mov files

I am on a mac, and am trying to make .ogv files via firefogg.

I follow the instructions, do the encode, but the resulting file is a zero K ogv file.

This seems to happen regardless of the file type I start with (I specifically want to go from .mov files, but can do an intermediate conversion if necessary)

Any ideas?
