The best example is the light blue section just above this box, I cannot see the words its just blank, but my mouse response when put over it.. The same in facebook at the top where the blue heading are there's no text visable.

Happens to me a lot. Try refreshing with "F5" or "Shift+F5" or disabling "Adblock Plus", I suppress some of this page just so that I can reply to questions. The problem is there is far too much CSS and other garbage on these pages and it can't all load up to be seen. While I haven't had a problem with that lately -- I can do everything without it. 1. Bold is enclosed within a pair of 3 single quotes (on each side)
  2. Italic is enclosed within a pair of 2 single quotes
  3. Links a bit harder to explain enclose between a pair of square brackets ("[" and "]"), the url (no spaces) followed by a space then the wording before the close square bracket.
  4. Numbered list item starts with a "#" sign at the beginning of the line
  5. Ordered list item starts with an "*" asterisk at the beginning of the line

Unless I eliminate the stuff at the bottom of the page the scrolling will be far too slow, too jerky and useless. With that removed the page responds a lot better.

That can be caused by the "Keystroke protection" in Comcast Constant Guard. "Configure Anti-Keylogging Settings" -> disable

I'm thinking there must have been some misunderstanding of my situation, because neither of the responses fit. The best example of what was happening was at the blue border at the top of facebook that has the word facebook and the friend, message and notice apps was blank, among other things. Since I didn't understand either reply I did some research and and after putting firefox in safemode and back it fixed itself. I do greatly appreciate both responses since I learned some from both.
