I have a problem with the US version of Firefox page setup for printing being in millimeters and the default page size as A4 instead of letter.
The default page size is A4 instead of letter in the US version of Firefox (10.0.2). I know it was letter before. The margins were 0.5 inches now it is 12.7 millimeters. This has happened twice. I have unloaded extensions I thought may caused this but to no avail. It is a pain to export all the bookmarks, uninstall Firefox and remove any trace of the program and reinstall. Is there a way to make it default to letter again with inch size margins?

I've removed the solved status as you indicate that you haven't fixed it yet.
Did you open the about:config page via the location bar and put print in the Filter at the top?

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article Fix printing problems in Firefox? There is some good troubleshooting information in there. I would suggest that you try resetting your print settings.

Can't find print.print_printer in Firefox 10.0.2 US. Still defaults to A4 instead of Letter. Seems it should be easier to set page size than go into about:config. So it still is not working. I have to print to a PDF then print the PDF to get it to work.
