Search bar appears over top of Yahoo home page
When I log onto yahoo.com, a search bar with menu and mail items appears at the top of the page. For it to disappear, I have to scroll up. It is annoying as it covers part of the top picture and side menu items. Is there some type of extension that will disallow this from popping up. It does not pop up on another computer in Firefox nor does it appear on my computer's IE.

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.
Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Strangely enough, I tried disabling each of the add-ons one by one. The one that did it was AdBlock. I disabled, then enabled it, and the problem disappeared. Thanks for the suggestions.
Actually, after further tries, the "bar" comes up here and there, no pattern. See it near at top of image.
same look with me, maybe a new yahoo design?
I would think it is new design, and if so, it's ridiculous. However, the bar, which appears when going to the site, then disappears when scrolling up, shows up in some browsers and not in others, very inconsistent. This is why I was hoping to get to the functionality of it and rid of it once and for all. May or may not be possible and might be an integral part of Yahoo page.
Reload the webpage while bypassing the cache using one of the following steps:
- Hold down the Shift key and click the Reload button with a left click.
OR
- Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows and Linux)
- Press Command + Shift + R (Mac)
You may also want to delete the cache on another browser like Internet Exploder and try that
Let us know if this solves the issues you are having.
That bar only seems to be fixed if there is no horizontal scroll bar visible.
I can can make it appear and disappear with making the window wider and smaller around the width where the horizontal scroll bar appears.
