why does Firefox 24.0 not support Trusteer Endpoint Protection software?
Firefox 24.0 no longer supports Trusteer Endpoint Protection recommended by my bank, Why? Firefox 23.0x did support the software running on my computers, but I no longer see the Trusteer icon by my address bar in Firefox 24.0. Does this mean that Firefox 24.0 is secure enough not to require Trusteer's use?
Another name associated with Trusteer is Rapport.

I use FF25. When I upgraded to FF26 my trusteer icon is missing. Why Must I every time reinstall Trusteer? I am very satified with Firefox and Have tried other browsers like Google chrome and comparing to Firefox they are all useless. Johann Combrinck xxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx.xx South Africa.

Trusteer Rapport is using a binary in their add-on which need to be updated for each new version of Firefox.

I suggest that you contact Trusteer support and ask how to enable automatic updates for their Firefox add-on. Or bookmark that page and use that bookmark every 6 weeks when a new version of Firefox is released.
