Options Advanced tab does not work. Firefox no longer default browser. How do I fix this?

Firefox quit being my default browser without warning. The Options Advanced tab does not work so I can't reset default. When I click on the Advanced Options tab nothing happens. How do I fix this?

If you restart Firefox the problem persist?

Try start in Safe Mode:
