I am running icloud and google sync. I can't get to the bookmarks because of the number firefox appears to hang when I try and get to the bookmarks.

Is there a way to delete the bookmarks without opening firefox?

Yes, you can delete the places.sqlite file, but this action will delete all your bookmarks.

Find your profile and delete the places.sqlite:

Bookmarks and Browsing History: The places.sqlite file contains all your Firefox bookmarks and the list of all the websites you’ve visited
