This really needs to be fixed. It's been going on for a while and I don't get why better screening before letting was not done more thoroughly. I got the virus today and couldn't remove with malwarebytes or spybot search and destroy or even an Antivirus that I paid for. I read up on it even combo fix doesn't work. Until this get fixed, I'm going to use something else. Kinda reminds me of Android which I prefer the most but you see how bad the malware in their Google play store is?

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
