I have tryed and tryed to figure out how to set up IN firefox how to read/send email. I have not clue what to do, and don't under stand all the pop/imap . HELP

Can I JUST get step by step instruction on how to set up firefox to read/send my aol mail. I have tried 20 addons. can't NOT get any to work or what's a IMAP is or what a pop is. aol mail address, JUST plan straght step by step instruction....

Firefox does not do email, but you can use Firefox to access webmail at the AOL portal.

If you want to use IMAP/POP, you need an email program such as Thunderbird. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/
