My Mozilla Thunderbird works fine for several of my e-mail accounts at Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo. However, for one of my Yahoo accounts I've several folders that show the number of unread mails in that folder but no mail could be downloaded or shown in that particular folder. This problem exist in some of my personal folders and the 'sent' mail folder as well. I've checked out the article about Disappearing mail (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Disappearing_mail) but nothing over there helps.

Can any one help?

Many thanks!!!

Thanks for the reply. It does solve most of the problem as I can now see and download the e-mails.

Nevertheless, I still have problem with the connection towards Yahoo for mails in this folder every single time. I've tried this many times, including variations like doing it after breaking it online & offline, turning thunderbird off and on, and restarting my PC. Anyhow, I manage to download the 1000+ mails in that particular and I believe the lingering problem only affect or is caused by a few special mails in the mail folder.

I'm happy now and thanks for the help!
