Where is the setting to delete messages off the server after downloading all messages?

I use Mailwasher to preview my emails before downloading to Thunderbird. After I get my messages on Thunderbird, those recently downloaded appear to still remain on the server. I would like to have them deleted upon downloading to Thunderbird, but cannot find a setting in the program to do so.
