Update and now can't use most buttons and doesn't open any pages, not even local html files. How can I fix?

Firefox on my phone recently updated itself and now I have several problems with it, including several buttons being disabled (I can't even get into settings because that button is disabled) and it refuses to load any pages, not even local html files.

Worse, I can't figure out how to sync it to save my bookmarks.

Update to which version? What buttons? There aren't that many in Firefox for Android anyway.
