A client of mine has t-bird for their email. One email address, t-bird is used one 2 different computers. Manager has personal folder on her p.c. which is showing up on the employee computer. Also, when an email is read/deleted on employee p.c., it shows as read or deleted on managers. Apparently, this was not the case previously. I am not too familiar with t-bird. I have tried changing/looking at settings and such, but to no avail. So, what I need help with is: A. making managers personal folder not show up in t-bird on employee's station and B. when emails are read and or deleted on employee's station, for it to still be available on managers.

The only way two computers can see folder of an email account and sync them is if they are using IMAP email. That is how IMAP works and has nothing to do with being familiar with how Thunderbird operates. If the manager wants a Personal folder then they need to create that folder under the Local Folder account in Thunderbird. Then the manager can move messages into that folder and the get removed from the providers server and onto the manager's local drive. As for the second part you need to read how IMAP works to see that is not going to happen.
