How to keep websites from reloading?

more options

"Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" doesn't keep all websites from reloading.

The results can be annoying, such as fivethirtyeight.com reloading thirty seconds after loading, while I'm trying in another address, forcing me to type again. The results can be migraine-inducing, and potentially seizure-inducing, such as helpx.adobe.com flashing and reloading every few seconds. I seem to recall trouble exiting that page too.

Please do not ask me to refresh Firefox or try Firefox in safe mode. I have a strobe sensitivity, and migraines, and need a number of animation-blocking tools to use Firefox.

The built-in accessibility setting doesn't block scripts, so you would need an add-on to cover those methods of reloading/redirecting.

Suggestions for an add-on? I can't find any that purport to do this.

NY Times front page reloads are mighty annoying...

I haven't searched myself, sorry.
