how to install certificates in firefox store using command line?
i am trying to use a powershell script to install the certificates to the user profile firefox cert store.
command line is
Start-process -filepath "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Firefox\NSS\bin\certutil.exe" -argumentlist "-A -d `"C:\users\username\Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Profilename`" -i `"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Firefox\Cert1.cer`" -n Cert3 -t `"C,C,`",`"C,C,C`"" -wait
this runs just fine, no issues.
here is the weird thing: On Windows 7: I can find the certificates when i use Certutil.exe with - L switch, but the certificates never show up in the advanced\certificates\authorities tab when i look.
and On Windows 10: I can find the certificated in Firefox advanced tab and also using the Certutil.exe -L switch.
Is this expected behavior? and am i doing something wrong on windows 7?
THanks for the help.

Did a google search for what you are wanting to do. There seems to be some info that you need to read in the wiki plus others https://www.google.ca/search?q=how+to+install+certificates+in+firefox+store+using+command+line&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=tf1qWbPHKIuM0wKft4CQBQ
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
@pkshadow: thanks for your response: i tried adding the certificates manually through the firefox import wizard and they still don't show up in the firefox/advacned view, but i can see them when i use the -L Switch with certutil. and i also tried adding the certificates with the trusted attributes that are shown after adding them manually. it shows in the cert sotre, but not in the firefox view.
is this expected behavior and can we assume that the firefox browser will use the certs in the firefox store, although they are not visible in the firefox/advanced/certificates options?
