Using MS Exchange, so easy set up - receiving ok. A different email client is working send/receive. I've checked password saved in TB - it's the same for both IN and OUT.

TB version 52.2.1 IMac early 2009 - OSX 10.11.6

Ideas? Thanks John

Soluție aleasă

Change the server name to smtp.office365.com and see if it makes any difference.

Have you tried port 25? Despite all the recommendations to the contrary, ISTR I use this with my exchange-based account.

I also have a notion that I am using a different server, with office365 as part of its name.

I can check both of these, but not until tomorrow.

Thanks both. Should have spotted the different server name. Have been using Mac Mail but that and Exchange have stopped communicating properly.
