How do I change the default for wrapping long lines?

Long lines of text are wrapped by default and I can choose to stop them wrapping. How do I reverse that so they are normally not wrapped, but I can choose to wrap them if I want to.

Soluție aleasă

Hi kdiment,

Would you give this a try :

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar plain_text

and look for the preference :

plain_text.wrap_long_lines

and set its value to false (default value is 'true')

Then close and restart Firefox.

Does that work for you  ?
