Trying to reinstall firefox but the profile has been deleted

I was having problems with Firefox, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall. However, after downloading firefox I got the error message that firefox would not load because my profile was missing. I can't seem to get past this.

That's definitely not what you want to hear. Did the uninstaller ask you whether you wanted to save or remove your data? Normally it would default to saving your data.

This article has some options for generating a new profile to get Firefox up and running. I suggest using Method 2. It may help to set Windows to show hidden files and folders as well.
