Why does Firefox alphabetize my Bookmark Toolbar automatically whenever I start up the program?

Question pretty much sums it up. If I move the bookmarks on the toolbar around, they will stay like that until I shut down my computer and open Firefox the next time I log on.

Open All Bookmarks and check under Views that Unsorted is selected.

Hi Austin, there are add-ons to auto-sort bookmarks, but I can't think of any built-in feature for that.

Do you use Firefox Sync to sync bookmarks with any other installations of Firefox that might have an auto-sort add-on installed?

Everything is unsorted, but alphabetizing still automatically occurs.

I have turned Firefox Sync off and removed other devices from my account. Still, alphabetizing automatically occurs.

Your More system details in this forum shows that you have this extension installed - iCloud Bookmarks 2.1.23 (firefoxdav@icloud.com)

Perhaps that extension is what's alphabetizing those bookmarks?

BTW, that extension has been reported in this forum to be the cause of various problems when it is used along with Firefox Sync.
