Firefox can't connect to my local weather station at "http://192.168.33.11:8998/gauges.html" but chrome works just fine.

This is the error message I get:

The connection has timed out -- The server at 192.168.32.11 is taking too long to respond.

Problem Solved:

Well, I finally got this working. I was trying to use an imported bookmark (from Chrome) to reach my weather station and even though the URL looked perfect, it wouldn't work until I edited the bookmark and re-typed the exact same text.

Kinda weird but there must have been some sort of corruption during the import process.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions.

It is possible that Firefox blocks this port.
