TB 128.0.1esr (64-bit), updated a couple of days ago, highlights the destination folder so faintly when I drag and drop an email from another folder that it's hard to be sure I've selected the right folder. Until now the highlighting has been prominent so drag-and-drop went much faster.

Is this hard-wired in the app? I checked the settings menus and don't find a user preference for controlling this highlighting.

Try this: Settings/General, Config. editor, toggle nglayout.enable_drag_images to false.

Thank you, sfhowes. I'd looked through the config editor before without finding this setting. I tried it as you suggested but the highlighting of the destination folder remained the same.
