block pop-up ads
Today, Stephen Weisman Esq., in his Scamicide daily post, wrote: While often the pop-up ads may be legitimate advertisements, in other cases they are created by scammers who lure you into clicking on links and being directed to websites that either convince you to provide personal information that can be used to make you a victim of identity theft or, in a worst case scenario, merely by either clicking on the link or being redirected to another website, you may unwittingly download malware such as ransomware or keystroke logging malware that can steal from your phone or computer sensitive personal information that can be used to access your bank account or make you a victim of identity theft in other ways.
He also wrote that pop-up ads can be blocked but I don't see that option on Firefox Mozilla. Please let me know how to do this.
Thank you.

Hi
There's actually some options you can enable in Firefox to prevent this but it can be a bit tricky and may not perfectly work.
I strongly encourage you to start using UBlock Origin, just install the addon from the Mozilla Store and you're done. It works like a charm and is very popular among the community.
Here's a link if you need: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
