individual folders and addresses gone
I accidentally updated thunderbird and now all my individual folders have disappeared as well as my address books. It also redownloaded 886 messages dating back to 2022!! Help. I really need my sorted folders back and all my addresses.

You may be experiencing an issue similar to the one described in the following article, i.e. Thunderbird may be using the wrong profile, in which case you may solve the problem by telling Thunderbird to use the right one:
