Firefox will not allow me to open my Gmail contacts list from an individual terminal

When using my Gmail account, Firefox can open and delete all mail. However, i am unable to open my contacts list, when I try to do this a message of "loading..." appears at the top of the page and the screen freezes which disables my ability to click on any other link or even log off the page. I know people have had previous problems when using Gmail through Firefox but I cannot find any help or advice on how to deal with the issues

When using my Gmail account, Firefox can open and delete all mail. This is a problem with a specific website I would strongly suggest you contact Gmail directly. I have seen that the Skype addon could cause this problem you may want to uninstall it by following these instructions: Disable or remove Add-ons.
