HI. I can't save any bookmarks when I promt firefox to do so. I've reinstalled program, etc. Nothing. Any help?? Thanks!

Hi, I can not save bookmarks either in the toolbar or normal bookmark. I've tried everything the help page recommends, but nothing. I've even deleted the program, downloaded another Firefox, and still can not bookmark anything. Any help out there? Thank you so much!

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
