You need to install the Windows Media Player plug-in for Firefox. The plug-in is not included in Windows Media Player, but is available from http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx

An alternative for Windows 7 is to install the HTML5 Extension for Windows Media Player Firefox Plug-in, this includes the WMP plug-in, plus it adds some additional functionality. This is available from http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/html5-extension-for-wmp-plugin
