Whenever I start Firefox There is a blue bar at the top that says "downloading the latest applications" that never goes away. Any way to fix this?

There is also a little animated download circle on the bar that is located just above the window tabs. I left Firefox open for hours and rebooted and it still comes up every time.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
