speed dial has gone out 3 times in about a week

The first time my Speed Dial went out , about a week ago, I wrote in and was told I needed to update speed dial. My speed dial was up to date but updating another plug in fixed. That also worked a couple of days later when I had the same problem. Its not working today Firefox 3.6.15 I get this message: XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul Line Number 1, Column 1:
