add-on screen displays when I start Firefox 3.6.

When I startup Firefox 3.6, the add-on screen also displays, saying one add-on has been updated. Even in safe-mode, this happens every time.

disable all the update options. firefox main window-> tools -> options -> advanced tab ->update tab-> uncheck all that you dislike.
