my gmail accounts will not allow me to send out emails. Dialog box comes up saying: Your connection to Gmail has expired. Please log in again.

Logged into gmail account and it won't let me send out emails. Dialog box comes up saying: "Your connection to Gmail has expired. Please log in again." Have to remain logged in to opened account, but log in again, so I'm logged in twice and then send???
