My Norton's Safety Minder program was disabled after I updated to Firefox 7.0. When is a fix expected to be released?

My son downloaded Firefox 7.0 which normally would not be a problem for me, but it disabled Norton's Safety Minder. Is there a way to revert back to the former version of Firefox, or will a fix be published soon so that Safety Minder can run again?
