since the last update i now get the applications icon instead of the firefox icon

My firefox browser icon is now the same as the firefox "applications" icon, and the traditional firefox icon is gone. This happened after the last update. This did not happen on my laptop. I'm stumped. What should I do?

Hi betti1dl,

I've seen this happen periodically, but it's pretty easy to fix. Just delete the icon from your dock. Then recreate it by dragging the Firefox icon into the doc from the applications folder.

I've seen this happen periodically, but it's pretty easy to fix. Just delete the icon from your dock. Then recreate it by dragging the Firefox icon into the doc from the applications folder.
