Pictures and videos are loading blurry
For about a month, whenever I go online pictures are loading blurry, as are videos. At first it was only doing it on YouTube and so I thought it was manually loading funny, but it wasn't and then soon after any sort of pictures, even high quality ones, are loading blurry/pixelated. The only sort of real answers I've seen are use ctrl+0, but that's completely not the issue. The webpage is fine, it's the pictures and videos themselves that are being funny. My computer has no viruses, I regularly clean my browser registry, and I clean out my cookies and cache. I've updated all of my plugins and gone through them to see if any of those could be a problem, and that's not it either. I have no idea what is happening. Has anyone else had this issue, or know how I could fix it?

Does this also happen if you save such an image to your computer and open it in an other program?
Try a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 15.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

Images that were already saved to my laptop are viewing fine, those that I saved while I've been having problems are loading blurry. I'm on Google Chrome right now, as I'm downloading Firefox again.
A friend suggested that maybe it wasn't a browser problem at all; that maybe my graphics card has gone bad. But that would be odd because this is a brand new laptop that I've only had about two to three months.
I'll try your suggestion and then come back with my results.
That completely helped! Thank you :)
