please some advice, i had firefox beta installed on my galaxy 2 running android 4.0.4. the app requested manual update could't update, invalid package file?

I had firefox beta running with no problems until today when requested manual update..wouldn't allow , so i uninstalled the app, now i am unable download app from google play. Error message- invalid package file ??

Google hosts the files for updating. The only thing we can suggest is to try again later when you have a more reliable connection to the internet.

Have tried.your suggestion, but to no avail.Can't even down load just Firefox app..what does this message mean.I'm getting? Can.download all other apps from google.play.
