I am running Firefox 16.0.2 and want to import the bookmarks from IE 8 ... go through the process given at Firefox... but it only partially imports "favorites"

I am running Firefox 16.0.2 and IE 8 on my Windows 7 computer.... I am trying to import the IE 8 "favorite" into the Firefox.... I go through the procedure that Firefox has provided ... however it ONLY imports part of my IE favorites... that is only about 7 folders with it sub-folders where my save bookmarks are... I have a lot more than those folders (bookmarks)... any help?

Hi,

You can try to export the bookmarks to HTML in IE and then import the HTML file in Firefox via Bookmarks (Alt + B) > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Export > Import Bookmarks from HTML....

You can try to export the bookmarks to HTML in IE and then import the HTML file in Firefox via Bookmarks (Alt + B) > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Export > Import Bookmarks from HTML....
