When i try to send an email, it keeps coming back with the message "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.7.6 Message rejected as spam (CM).. Please check the message and try again" My message appears ok, then I tried to send a different email using a different email address on the same laptop, but with the same result???

Possibly your email provider got onto some sort of black list. In any case, contact your email provider for this.

Do you have a signature attached to your emails? I have seen links or graphics in some signatures cause the email to be tagged as spam.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I don't have a signature attached, so its not that 1. I am with Virgin Mobile and will go and see them today to make sure it isn't that.

It sounds like you sending mail from say wally@comcast.net using the smtp servers for Google.

Tools menu (Alt+T) > account settings > outgoing server (SMTP) check that the account you think your sending mail using is there.

Now click on the account name above SMTP server in the main list and make sure the SMTP server for that account is set to the one you think it is.
