Update failed, "incomplete download";yet your site says I'm up-to-date? Update then said reconnecting to download complete file, but 'sat in' download window for ages. Now your site says I'm up to date, yet no further update took place?

Hey there; in case the automatic update is having trouble, do a manual update from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ to make sure everything gets done right.

The update process might have written the new version number in before everything was installed, but I can't say that for sure, as I don't have intimate knowledge of the process.

Sorry for the confusion: websites cannot tell if you have a .1 or .2 update because Firefox only sends them the whole version number (45.0). Even Mozilla's own website can't tell. Probably there should be an asterisk, you have the latest version * as far as we can tell!

Thanks for the clarification, jscher!
