Since downloading Firefox 15.0.1 I cannot access www.google.com or use the Google searchbar built into the browser (the site is not blocked).
I am on a Mac and since downloading the newest version of Firefox, I have been unable to access www.google.com or use the Google searchbar built into the browser. The site is not blocked and I am not running any third party programs that would inhibit my ability to access the site. I can access Google.com using Safari, and other search engines work in the Firefox searchbar (Bing and Yahoo). If this problem isn't fixed I'm just going to switch back to Safari -not being able to use Google or Gmail is just too big a deal. Clearing my cache didn't help.

Hmmm, could be one of your add-ons.
A standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode (Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode) using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
If the site works correctly, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.
To further disable add-ons, you can try here:
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Plugins category
Any change?

You might also want to clear your google.com cookies. You can do that here:
Firefox > Preferences > Privacy
If you don't have "use custom settings for history" selected, select that.
Use the "Show Cookies" button to find and remove your google.com cookies.
So I disabled add-ons and restarted in safe mode. That fixed the problem, so I reinstalled Firefox and added my add-ons back. Now, I have my add-ons and I can use www.Google.com again. In other words, the problem is completely fixed without having to make any concessions. I just don't understand why I had to go through that in the first place, but whatever...
I didn't mean to make you go through all of that, but all's well that ends well?
