I was downloading some video files and stopped 2 of them. The problem is these two files have now left 2 0kb files on my hdd with the exact same name and I cant delete them. I've tried closing firefox, deleting from command prompt, deleting from safe mode, it wont let me rename or move the files. I've tried Lockhunter and other programs, but they dont work as nothing is locking the file or using it. They arent read only either. Something went wrong with firefoxes downloading of them. When I try to delete them I get the message that the file is not located on the drive and find the correct path. I really hope someone can help me.

Typically after hours of finding no useful method of deleting it and creating this post, I suddenly find a method that works within seconds...

Install winrar, rightclick on problem file and select Add to archive. On the right side of the new window click on the small box next to Delete files after archiving and OK. All fixed. Hope this helps others.
